1st Annual Photo Contest showcasing Carrizo’s best

We welcome all photos that reflect the uniqueness and diversity of the Monument ranging from scenic landscapes, colorful flower displays, human interests and living creatures that call Carrizo home. BLM and Friends of the Carrizo Plain may use photos on various printed materials, electronic media and social media platforms. Photo credit will be given to all photographers. All photo submissions must include: title name, date, location description and category selection of youth (under 18) or adult (18 and older).

Contest winners will be chosen by Friends of the Carrizo Plain board members and a “People’s Choice” winner will be selected by the public. Winners will be showcased in the 2018 Carrizo Plain National Monument Visitors Guide, Goodwin Education Center, the website at carrizo.org and on social media. All photo entries must be submitted via email with the title “2017 Photo Contest Submission” no later than 5 pm on September 15, 2017. Winners will notified via email no later than November 15, 2017.
